The City of Long Beach proudly presents the 2023 Veterans Day Celebration to honor those who have served and are currently serving in the United States military. The free, family-friendly festival will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Houghton Park (6301 Myrtle Ave.) This year’s Veterans Day Celebration will feature a welcome ceremony with local elected officials and community leaders, a veterans recognition ceremony and a veterans and community resources fair. The celebration will also include emceeing and DJ’ing by Mr. Quick (intermittent sets) and live musical performances by the Satin Dollz (noon and 1:15 p.m.) and Knyght Ryder (2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.), a Kids Zone, food trucks, a giant inflatable obstacle course, flyovers with historic aircraft (12:45, 2, 2:25, 3 and 3:55 p.m.), and community showcases.
